The all new Honda Civic Coupe was unveiled at the LA Auto Show and is not confirmed yet that it will be coming to the UK. It is although available in hatchback and estate versions. The U.S. market, however, is very big for saloons and big cars, so, it is confirmed that the Civic saloon will be available in the U.S. market and definitely there will be a coupe model as well.
While it’s still unconfirmed that it is making its way to the UK. But we hope that it will give the UK buyers a great chance to buy a next generation hatchback model. It is confirmed that the Honda Swindon will host the production of next generation hatchback.
It’s also been confirmed that Honda Swindon plant is investing 200 million pounds to facilitate the production of next generation models like the Civic Coupe.
The all new Civic Coupe 2017 is based on the similar Honda platform, but it takes inspiration from the previously shown concept at the New York Motor Show.
The Civic Coupe will be available in the U.S. markets from the spring of coming year but there is no chance of its launch in the UK market in 2016.
The all new Civic Coupe features a designing and a bold grille, distinctive rear lights and some styling like on the Jazz and HR-V crossover. It has a futuristic look that clearly confirms the improvements in the previous versions.
At the moment, new Honda Civic Coupe is coming to U.S. market and it won’t feature a Honda Civic diesel engine. So, the only option left is the 2.0-litre i-VTEC engine which is further backed by a higher power turbocharged 1.5-litre engine.
