We have picked top five attractions of the 2014 LA Motor Show for your amusement

LA Motor Show has showed a range of precious and luxurious bumper crop of metal for the 2014. Some high-end performance cars along with precious luxuries have been unveiled at the floor of the show. Mercedes-Benz has introduced the Maybach again while Porsche and BMW are showing their flagship models at the show.

We have identified five cars from the exhibition floor as the pick of the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Let us know your views and feelings on selection of cars in the comments section

Mercedes-Maybach S600

Maybach finally returns to LA Motor Show 2014, the super-luxury brand was rolled-off the market couple of months ago but it has finally returned as a strong competitor to the likes of Rolls-Royce and Bentley. Mercedes-Maybach S600 offered to S-Class clients who are demanding more prestigious S-Class. It is hinted that the new Maybach S600 will be offered from a £130,000 price tag.

BMW X5M/X6M

The X5M and X6M flagship models from BMW M-Performance division are jutting out exactly as the BMW was expecting at LA Motor Show. Both models are fitted with 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 BMW engine and expected price from £90,170 and £93,070 respectively.

Porsche Cayenne GTS

Porsche stand in LA with a revised Cayenne GTS powered by a downsized engine. While the pre-facelift GTS used an enormous 4.8-litre V8 of 414bhp, this one gets a V6 of 3.6-litre with bi-turbo and capable of generating 20bhp extra than V8. Porsche claims that it has an improved economy which has increased from 27 to 29mpg

Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

If you are attending a Motor Show in America and don’t see the American muscle, it wouldn’t be American then. Yes, talking about Mustang. Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 has a 5.2-litre V8, which ditches its old-style supercharger to support the high-revving natural aspiration to generate 500bhp and equal amount of torque. You will meet the standard Mustang in UK for the first time in 2015 but as for Shelby GT, we are still not sure whether it will join us in UK or not.

Mazda CX-3

Finally Mazda strikes back in the American market with its CX-3 crossover which is a production ready car and will have its big impact on the UK market as well. It looks great and ready to hunt Nissan Juke and Peugeot 2008 like models in summer 2015. Don’t worry, the price tag will start from £13,000 with latest SkyActiv Mazda engine and driver focused layout.
