The concept is not powered by a diesel engine, rather it is having a twin-turbocharged petrol engine.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_are_the_specification_of_this_engine\"><\/span>What are the specification of this engine?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine, that\u2019s what is powering this concept car and it is not only engine which will be offered by the Mercedes. The company sources say that there will be a number of units that will power the GLC and GLC Couple.<\/p>\n<p>You will be surprised to know that this twin-turbo V6 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enginecompare.co.uk\/make?car=all-mercedes-engine&amp;make_id=50\"><strong>Mercedes-Benz engine<\/strong><\/a> is so mighty that even xDrive35i, the most powerful petrol engine in BMW X4 models, has fallen short by 60bhp and 88lb ft.<\/p>\n<p>Mercedes\u2019 new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daimler.com\/dcmedia\/0-921-1553299-1-1618134-1-0-1-0-0-0-0-1549054-0-1-0-0-0-0-0.html\"><strong>nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox<\/strong><\/a> and 4Matic four-wheel drive system is responsible for channelizing all this massive power to all four wheels.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_will_be_its_application\"><\/span>What will be its application?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enginecompare.co.uk\/blog\/category\/mercedes-benz\/\"><strong>According to Mercedes<\/strong><\/a>, this particular engine is all set to power a GLC450 Coupe AMG along with the larger GLE450 Coupe Sport. The disguised GLC Coupe which was spotted earlier was having the same swooping roof design as the concept was having at the show. The front is also similar to other GLC\u2019s but it has a different grille and smaller wheels.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_platform_is_it_riding\"><\/span>What platform is it riding?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For this sporting SUV, Mercedes has modified its modular high-strength steel MRA platform which can be found beneath the latest C-Class.
