The nips and tucks at the front and rear are so minor that you\u2019ll probably need a strong magnifying glass. But it has noticeable improvements in the fuel economy and emissions side.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Looks_and_Image_of_BMW_3_Series\"><\/span>The Looks and Image of BMW 3 Series<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As compared to the earlier versions, this one has a little lesser sculpted front bumper but it has a greater emphasis on the horizontal lines.<\/p>\n<p>There is one thing clear that when it comes to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enginecompare.co.uk\/blog\/the-all-new-bmw-335d-m-sport-touring\/\"><strong>premium cars<\/strong><\/a>, BMW\u2019s domination is not as strong as it once was. But apart from anything, it still has a strong following and remains one of the most influential and popular saloon in the Britain.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_about_space_and_practicality\"><\/span>What about space and practicality?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Recessed bins at the sides, a large aperture to slot larger cases, and big boot behind rear seats, pretty practical. The cabin is spacious enough to accommodate passengers and front doors include door bins that come in handy at times.<\/p>\n<p>With longer rear seat squabs, the 3 Series offers ample legroom in the back. The leather covered surfaces are also a nice touch.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_does_it_feel_behind_the_wheel\"><\/span>How does it feel behind the wheel?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Despite the hefty price tag, the 320d is the biggest seller which has very impressive efficiency numbers and an optional eight-speed automatic gearbox. It has a 188bhp <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enginecompare.co.uk\/make?car=all-bmw-engine&amp;make_id=28\"><strong>BMW engine<\/strong><\/a> that produces 295lb\/ft of torque.<\/p>\n<p>The handling is super-stable, when you have the M Sport version\u2019s larger wheels, the grip increases considerably. Thanks to the Efficient Dynamics, it now floats in a well-controlled manner.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_about_the_value_for_money\"><\/span>What about the value for money?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmw.com\/com\/en\/newvehicles\/3series\/touring\/2008\/allfacts\/engine\/xdrive.html\"><strong>320D xDrive<\/strong><\/a> will cost you almost \u00a346,000 with options selected. And a well-equipped standard 335d with a fair amount of torque will cost you less than \u00a341,000. As many of BMW\u2019s options are being replaced by better versions, so sticking to the standard version will be a wise choice.
