Nissan Leaf replacement battery prices have been announced and it will cost just under £5000

 

Nissan Leaf is an exclusive electric vehicle was originally offered for £30,000 after a discount of £5000 from the government to encourage the electric car market. Nissan also shifted their production to UK last year, to reduce retail prices. They also introduced leasing schemes including cars and batteries.

The latest generation of Leaf is an improved motorway cruiser with a better riding experience at motorway speeds. Driving tests and reviews show that it can return 75 to 80 miles from a single charge. It is also stated that the distance shrinks to almost half in the snowy and cold season.

In a recent report from Nissan, customers can buy the replacement batteries for the Leaf and prices have also been confirmed by Nissan. Prices start from £4,920 in UK. You will also receive £1,000 cash back for your old and exhausted battery.

Nissan GB’s EV manager, Paul O’Neill said that Nissan expects the majority of their Leaf owners will never need a replacement battery. “We are very confident in the durability of our battery technology, but we are pleased to be able to provide further assurances to the growing community of Leaf drivers in the UK and dispel myths around battery pricing,” he said.
