Audi A4 Ready for FrankFurt

Packed with the latest safety and convenience technologies, a lighter and more efficient, all-new Audi A4 is ready to make its debut

Audi A4 has been living up to the expectations of the consumers for so long and with each passing year, it is making it even more difficult for the rivals to meet the standards set by Audi. The A4 is powered by Audi’s most efficient and environment-friendly petrol and diesel engines that make them the first choice of every car buyer.

What engines will be offered in new A4?

Surprisingly, the all-new Audi A4 will be offered with not one, two or three but seven new engines – four diesel and three petrol. Like always, the most environment-friendly and efficient one is none other than the 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine which will be emitting less than 100 grams per kilometre of CO2. The power output ranges from 150PS to 272PS, which will be available in the top notch 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine.

What standard equipment are on board?

Like all modern vehicles, there are plenty of standard equipment onboard but Audi A4 has something special packed in for everyone, it comes with three-zone climate control rather than dual-zone, Audi Drive Select, seven-inch infotainment system (fully compatible with smartphones), and 17-inch alloy wheels.

As Audi promised convenience and safety technologies, the A4 offers optional extras including rear cross traffic assist, traffic jam assist, collision avoidance assist and a whole bunch of assistance systems for exceptional and pleasurable driving experience.

Is there any change in the outfit?

Definitely yes. The new Audi A4 is wider and longer than the outgoing one, which means more head- and legroom, and more spacious cabin. The Avant model on the other hand, has a luggage capacity of 505 litres which can be expanded to amazing 1510 litres with the boot down. For the time being, there are figures available for the saloon models.

The prices are expected to start at around £28,000 and the first deliveries are due by the end of 2015. The Avant model will be available in early 2016.
